Problem:

The steps for debugging from the IDE need to be clarified.

Resolution:

To start the Animator for the demonstration application:

1. Click Project > Properties and ensure that ESDEMO is specified as the name of the Enterprise Server to run the application.

2. Click Animate > Start Animating.

3. Click Start Enterprise Server.

4. Under Debug, click Generic .

5. Run the acct application as before, by entering ACCT in a 3270 session.

6. Click OK.

7. When debugging is finished, click Animate > Stop Animating.

Make sure that the "Show start animator prompt" option is turned on from Options > Animate. This will allow the user to see the Start Animating prompt and be able to click on the MTO Debug tab to perform steps #3 and #4.
