I would like to be able to dynamically create files from COBOL using a called interface like the BPXWDYN facility in Z/OS.  Does anyone have any knowledge if there is a utility that could be aliased to provide that functionality?

Hi Davechristensen,

Micro Focus have utility that "MFJSZ099" that simulates like dynamic allocation which uses SVC99 on Mainframe.

It can create the file and Catalog the Files.
