Problem:

Does Revolve support Easytrieve code, and if so how can this be achieved..?

Resolution:

Yes,  Easytrieve is supported in Revolve.

In the Revolve/BIN installation directory, there is a file called GLOBAL.DEF

Update the global.def file with the following information:

[Scanners]

count=5

scan1=dfsmda," =,","",1

scan2=Old Schedules - Please Convert," =,","",1

scan3=dyl," ","",2

scan4=csd," ",")",4

scan5=Easytrieve,"","",0

[ScanExtensions]

MDA=dfsmda

DYL=dyl

CSD=csd

RDT=csd

EZT=Easytrieve

Leave the  [ScanRelations] section unchanged.

In Revolve, Add the JCL and then Add Search on the Easytrieve program.

If the extension is not EZT for the Easytrieve programs then the extension will have to be added to the ScanExtensions list as well.

Example:- XXX=Easytrieve

Old KB# 4468

#EnterpriseAnalyzer
