Enterprise Developer TCP error 10054 during Remote Debugging using version 2.3 Update 2 Hotfix 9

Problem:

Whilst trying to remote debug a session with Enterprise Developer 2.3.2 Hotfix 9 using Microsoft Visual Studio, a TCP error 10054 similar to screen below is displayed:

Resolution:

To be able to remote debug correctly from an Enterprise Developer environment to Enterprise Server, modules check.dll and checksupp.dll must be present in the Enterprise Server BIN directory, but in version 2.3 Update 2 Hotfix 9, and earlier releases these modules had been omitted in the Enterprise Server product.

As a workaround - these modules can be copied from the Enterprise Developer BIN folder into the Enterprise Server BIN folder. 

Alternatively, an upgrade to version 2.3 Update 2 Hotfix 10 or later  - as these modules are included in Enterprise Server by default.
