Problem:

Single user testing of CTG clients worked correctly but with multiple clients the application did not scale correctly. The application may be returned ECI_ERR_TRANSACTION_ABEND oran abend code of AZTY.

Resolution:

Enterprise Server has a default limit of 4. This can be increased with the environment variable:

[ES-Environment]TX_UNICLI_SESSIONS=

This should be set to the maximum client requests parameter in the IBM CTG Configuration.
