Problem:

When loading a Revolve project, an error is reported. Where do I find additional information about the load error?

Resolution:

If something fails during the load, an appropriate message will be written to the ctf log file only. It is not written to the revolve.log file. Because of this you either need a ctf configuration file in the default location (i.e. the bin directory of Revolve), or the environment variable set with the appropriate location of that configuration file. Without this, nothing will be written.

When a project fails to load a message is written to the .log file that looks something like this:

680 MF.RV.RVCORE.RVUTIL 3 : "mf.rv.rvcore.rvutil" ".\\util.cpp 1853 UTIL_openFile - Failed to open file c:\\testproj\\testproj.RP1 - error 2"
