In the thread Executing Batch applications, we used our Bankdemo Enterprise Server to illustrate the execution of batch programs. In this thread we will be using Bankdemo again for CICS execution.

So just as with JCL, the execution of our jobs will require the presence of a previously configured Micro Focus Server.

I will remind you again that in order to execute applications, you will need to activate Enterprise Developer Team Edition. The free edition, or Enterprise Developer Personal Edition wont create executable files.
