Funny Display Behavior for JES Display of Spool Queues

The issue:

Funny behavior is observed when using Internet Explorer 11 as the browser when looking at the JES spool queues.

Under IE 11 if the headings “JobID” or “Submitted” under the JES Output Queue are clicked, the list will shorten. For example, if there is a page of listed submitted jobs, most of the list goes away, down to a very few. If the “Refresh” button is clicked, the list comes back. If the “JobID” or “Submitted” headings are clicked again, the list shortens again. If either “JobID” or “Submitted” are clicked, again, the full list does not come back. Ascending/descending do not work either.

It’s also noticed that the same list from the Output queue will appear on the Out Hold queue when either “Job ID” or “Submitted” are clicked on the Output Hold queue’s page. This has also been observed happening on the Printed queue page.

Under Firefox (in this case, Firefox V3.6.), everything works fine, the behavior is as expected.

The resolution:

if Compatibility View is set under Internet Explorer 11 then behavior will be normal. Visit this page for further information plus instructions on how to do that:
