Getting issue Illegal character in numeric field (163) when I move MAP Input Decimal field into COMP3 field.

Hi Team,

As per my understanding "issue Illegal character in numeric field (163) "    will ne raised  when trying to move non numeric data into numeric.

Here decimal (.) considering as non numeric data.

Please help me out.

Have you checked / debugged your program to ensure that no invalid data is used? What are the related data items defined as?

Do you have the CHECKNUM directive set?
This checks whether numeric fields contain valid data before performing operations on them. See documentation URL:
