Is it possible to access the Ims configuration of the Micro Focus IMS option from within the

Mainframe Express IDE?

Resolution:

Yes, you have to add a tool to the MFE tools menu:

in the MFE IDE go to: OPTIONS

                                  Customize IDE

                                  Tools  

                                  New Tool

type in "IMS-Config"  as menu text

specify MFIMS                for command and

           IMSGEN SYSCFG for the arguments

Now you can invoke the Mfims configuration via the Tools menu by clicking IMS-Config
