How can the IP Address be changed in Mainframe Access on the mainframe

Problem:

Mainframe Access was working fine on a mainframe until the mainframe IP Address is changed.

Now Mainframe Access will not run.

How can the IP Address be changed on the mainframe to allow MFA to work correctly..?

Resolution:

To change the IP Address....

When MFA 2.01 is installed, certain mainframe JCL job's have to be run.

Member  $$MVSTCP ( which can be found in MFA.INSTLIB PDS on the mainframe), contains details of the IP address and port number to be used.  The format is as shown below...

    MFAREG00 LOCAL=TCPIPMVS,BIND=(010,025,015,0201),PORT=5231

This IP address and port should be amended as required.

The job $$MVSTCP should be run on the mainframe.

Start the started task for MFA 2.01.
