Problem:

How can the Maximum Message Length be set for an IMS application.?

Resolution:

The Maximum Message Length beyond 31kb can be changed.

Open an MFE command Prompt.

Type MFIMS IMSGEN and enter

When the IMS Option IMSGEN main menu is displayed, choose option 3 - system configuration menu, then select option C - TM/MFS configuration.

From the list displayed, amend the Maximum length of message in message queue to the desired value (maximum 64K)

Just press ENTER to activate the change.

Use F3 or ESC until the IMS Option IMSGEN main menu is closed.
