Problem:
Source is being moved ot the PC from the Mainframe, should the naming convention be changed?
Resolution:
Keeping the naming convention the same, as in, MF10I.BANKDEMO.AMS, MF10I.BANKDEMO.COBOL, and so on would be best to keep the same. This will also work if a more conventional method would be desired. such as, T: \\Source\\COBOL, T:\\Source\\Assembler, and so on.
This will keep the source in one location but separated by individual folders for each file type. Revolve works better when the source isn't all in the same directory.
