Problem.

After changing a user password in Oracle, Enterprise Analyzer will not open a workspace owned by that user.
Enterprise Analyzer displays the message :     ORA-01017 Access Denied.
How can this be corrected?

Resolution.

When a user password is changed in Oracle, the password also has to be changed in the <workspace> .rwp file.

The user and password are kept in the <workspace>.rwp file and are encrypted, so they cannot be manually changed in any editor.

To correct the user password, the <workspace>.rwp file must be recreated using the BUILD NEW CONNECTION process.
