How to configure dfconv when converting files containing special characters such as German Umlauts?

Resolution

The environment variable MFCODESET can be set before the dfconv command is executed, this will help with correct character conversion. In this case as German is used therefore MFCODESET value will be 0049. Refer to product documentation for supported country code for MFCODESET.
