Problem:

Need to know how to uninstall - regularly -

it pops up a box asking licensing question to revoke or retain the license

how to uninstall revolve 6.2 silently - retaining the license - to follow up with the install of Revolve 7.0

Resolution:

Using the following parameter:

C:\\WINDOWS\\uninst.exe -fc:\\revolve\\DeIsL1.isu -y -a

rd c:\\revolve /s /q

cd\\

cd C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Start Menu\\Programs

rd "Micro Focus Revolve 6.2 TPS" /s /q

To get the correct location, if this is being done by someone not familiar with the machine:

regedit

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Micro Focus\\Revolve\\6.1\\Wrapper\\Setup\\1-Revolve]

"UninstallCommand"="C:\\\\WINDOWS\\\\uninst.exe -fc:\\\\tps\\\\DeIsL1.isu -y -a"

The syntax between the quotes on the "UninstallCommand" line should work for these needs to uninstall the product silently.
