Problem.

If a <workspace>.rwp file is deleted for any reason, and the MS SQL Express user password is not known, how can the BUILD NEW CONNECTION be used to recreate the <workspace>.rwp file.?

Resolution.

Make sure you are working with a user that has created the workspace or the user that installed the product.

Open the EA Administrator tool, from the Administer menu choose Build New Connection   

- Enter Correct server name   

- Enter Correct database name   

- Enter Integrated Security = Windows authenticated   

- Enter Save Link As = full path and file name for new .RWP file     

 (make sure the <workspace>.RWP file doesn't exist already as it will be overwritten without a prompt)   

- Click OK
