Hi All,

I downloaded and installed the Ent. Dev. Beta version and was wondering if there was a hands-on lab or tutorial. The first thing I tried was the ACCT sample, however, I could not get Enterprise Server to start it and kept getting a License Not Found error. Has anyone hit this issue before?

Hi Bash,

In order to have the debugging and execution to work, you will need to activate the trial of Enterprise Developer Team Edition. Have you done that? If you have, can you send the License not foudn dialog you are getting?

Also, we have built lots of info on the community wiki for EDPE. If you are using CICS here is a link for how to start the Server. community.microfocus.com/.../569.executing-cics-applications.aspx

at the same location you see information for executing batch applications as well.

Let me know the answer to my questions and we will be able to get your execution environment up quickly.

Somehow the server started when I issued the start command from within Visual Studio as opposed to logging into http://localhost:86. Also, I found the Get Started instructions in the Product Documentation section. Thanks for your help.
