This article explains why a Setup error window ocurrs when attempting to install Modernization Workbench.
Problem:
When we install Modernization Workbench 3.1, an error is returned. The error appears as a Modernization Workbench Setup error. Viewing the details for the Setup window displays the following message:
Component Sentinel RMS License Manager failed to install.
Resolution:
Issue is caused by conflicts with existing installations of Sentinel License Manager. Installation of Modernization Workbench installs the latest version of Sentinel License Manager. If client uses other Micro Focus products, there can be an issue when Modernization Workbench installation fails due to an older, pre-existing version of the License Manager. The older version of License Manager should be uninstalled. From here, the newest version of License Manager can be installed, or it can be installed automatically as part of the Modernization Workbench installation.
