Problem:

Is Mainframe Access Server 3.0 supported on z/OS 1.8?

Resolution:

z/OS updates rarely affect our products as IBM takes care to provide backward compatability.  There is nothing in the z/OS 1.8 release notes that gives us cause for concern.

But there may be a few caveats with respect to (optional) mixed case passwords and longer name lengths for RACF.   

Mainframe Access does not support mixed case passwords.
