Problem:

Is Mainframe Access supported on z/OS 1.8 on  IBM Z9 BC model 2096-C01.?

Resolution:

Mainframe Access has no hardware dependencies.   

The IBM Z9 BC  (Business Class) is really a mid-range capacity machine, normally up to  4 processors, and supporting a range of IBM operating systems .   

The z/OS version is therefore important.   

Although Micro Focus has not tested with the z/OS 1.8 version directly, there is nothing in the IBM release notes that leads us to believe MFA 2.0.01, 3.0 or 3.10 will not run under this version of z/OS.
