Is there a limit to the number of record layouts stored in an STR file?

Problem:

Is there any limit to the number of record layouts that can be stored in an STR file?

Resolution:

The maximum number of record layouts defined in the Record Layout Editor is 232.

This limit has been increased to 255 in the Data Tools FixPack V3.0.007 (dft07m30.exe).
