Problem:

Getting  complier error "Feature is part of an optional module" when building a project that uses this syntax in code.

Resolution:

This syntax is supported in all editions of MFE 3.0 - but only if you are using the correct mainframe dialect.

You need to ensure that Enterprise COBOL for z/OS is set as the dialect in the project.
