Problem:
Is the IBM JCL Checkpoint restart function for JES supported in MFE EE ?
Resolution:
Mainframe Express does not support a JES data checkpoint. We do support Checkpoints for IMS and DB2 and Mainframe Express does support a jobstep RESTART for batch JCL, but not one for data (QSAM / VSAM). We do not have a JES2 Checkpoint dataset.
