I am getting CASBJ0050E JES support not enabled; Job rejected. I have tried all options and getting the same error. Any help regrading this would be very much appreciated.

You're not giving us much to go on.

Is MSS enabled for your ES region? (In the Enterprise Server Administration GUI, edit the region, and go to Properties > MSS. Is the "Mainframe Subsystem Support enabled" checkbox ticked?)

Is there a checkmark on the JES tab in the MSS section? If not, go to that tab, and check "Job Entry Subsystem enabled".

If those are already enabled, then the most likely cause of this error is a failure starting JES at region startup due to configuration issues. Check the settings on the JES tab - JES Program Path, System Catalog, and Default Allocated Dataset Location must be valid and the account under which ES is running must have the necessary permissions.

Are there error messages related to JES startup in the console log?

I am also having the same error. MSS. Mainframe Subsystem Support enabled" checkbox is ticked for me.

Job Entry Subsystem is also enabled for me.

But when I am running JCL, I am getting the error ->

CASBJ0050E JES support not enabled; Job rejected 16:02:50

Kindly help on the same.

Please start a new discussion; don't reply to one from 6 years ago.

We can't help you without diagnostic material. At a minimum we would need the console log (the actual file, not a screenshot or excerpt). Please consult the product documentation if you're not sure how to get this.
