Knowledge Doc: Entry name not Cataloged when running ALTER – NEWNAME on a Partitioned Data Set (PDS) Member

Customer was renaming a Partitioned Data Set (referred here as PDS) member using the following SYSIN entries in IDCAMS and encountered the error JCLAM0115E(08):
                     ALTER   PARMLIB(TESTPRM)           -                                                                            
                             NEWNAME(PARMLIB(TESTPRM2))                                                                               
 JCLAM0115E(08) - ENTRYNAME NOT CATALOGED [PARMLIB(TESTPRM)
