Problem:
Mainframe Access Server Version 3.0 was made generally available in May 2004 as part of the Mainframe Express 3.0 and Mainframe Express Enterprise Edition 3.0 releases. MFA Server is an exciting new combination of functionality previously available in separate components, wtih many added features for the version 3.0 release. Current users of Mainframe Manager Version 2.01 (and earlier versions) and Mainframe Access Version 2.0 will be pleased to know that all functions provided by these components are included, integrated and improved, in Mainframe Access Server.
The introduction in the attached pdf file is intended to jump-start new users, who are installing for the first time, and current users, who are upgrading their product(s). Much of the informaiion can be found in the Mainframe Access Administartor's Guide but we have streamlined the presentation. There is also a good deal of new information and tips to help you as a product administrator.
