MFM0072E: Shutdown starting due to failure (in DASERVE) error

Problem:

The following abend occurred starting MFAAS:

MFM0072E: Shutdown starting due to failure (in DASERVE)

15.48.57 STC01314 CSV028I ABEND806-04 JOBNAME=MFAAS     STEPNAME=MFAAS

Solution:

The abend was caused by the user starting MFAAS manually. The problem was resolved by setting ASMINIMUM=1 in the Application Server address space definitions for Mainframe Access Application Server(s) for Endevor and then allowing the MFA to start MFAAS automatically.
