Problem:

EV Express fails to display charts with the error “Chart Can Not Be Displayed” after you upgrade from version 2.1.02 to version 2.1.03. The error results when NetCharts Server 5.1 has not been uninstalled, or when NetCharts Server 5.5 has been installed incorrectly.

Resolution:

Uninstall NetCharts Server 5.1 and NetCharts Server 5.5, then reinstall NetCharts Server 5.5:

1. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
2. In the Add or Remove Programs window, remove the NetCharts Server 5.1 and NetCharts Server 5.5 programs.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Reinstall NetCharts Server 5.5 using the install.bat file supplied with the upgrade.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services (or its equivalent on your system).
7. In the Services window, make sure NetCharts Server 5.5 is started. If it is not, select it and choose Action > Start.
