Problem:

The Password Expiration Manager (PEM) functionality is not included in Mainframe Express Enterprise Edition 3.1, how can it be activated?

Resolution:

This option has been removed from Mainframe Express Enterprise Edition 3.1

The Password Expiration Manager (PEM) will not function correctly with certain areas of the new z/OS password functionality, for example mixed case passwords are not supported by PEM.  

Micro Focus recommends the use of the MFA Drag & Drop tool for changing passwords.
