Problem:
Poor performance in OpenESQL applications and SQL Assistant
Resolution:
Ensure that ODBC tracing is not enabled, else the performance will be severely impacted. OpenESQL tracing, enabled via either the SQL(TRACELEVEL=n) compiler directive, or the EXEC SQL SET TRACELEVEL n statement, may also impact performance of your application.
