Problem:
This issue only affects Windows 8.1 and above.
When un-installing an MFE 3.1 Web Sync, a custom action is triggered to remove the ccitcp2 service. On Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and above this action triggers an error.
As MFE is not supported on Windows 8.1 and above, this error will not be fixed.
Solution:
The work around is to uninstall the main MFE product and re-install from the base version and then install the current Websync.
