Product Advisory for 4.0/5.0 products using Windows Server Containers on Windows Server 2019 February 11, 2020 security patch

Micro Focus Products Affected:

 - Visual COBOL Build Tools for Windows

 - Enterprise Developer Build Tools for Windows

 - COBOL Server

 - Enterprise Server

 - Enterprise Test Server

Versions: 4.0 - 5.0 inclusive

Scope of issue:

Due to a breaking change in the Windows Server 2019 February 11, 2020 security patch, all 32bit applications no longer load or execute in a Windows Server Container.

This affects existing images that contain 32bit applications and the building of new images due to our installer being 32bit.

The workaround proposed by Microsoft is to change the base version of the product image from one that targets .NET Framework 4.7.2 to one that targets .NET Framework 4.8.

This has been done for the 6.0 release
