Problem:

There are sets of numbers found in the buffer impact trace of a variable.  WHat do these numbers mean?

Resolution:

The numbers in the (#,#) are as follows:

the first number is the offset of the buffer (where the impacted variable starts)

the second number is the size of the impacted variable

for example:

-    buffer 000141                             04 MA07390 PICTURE S9(5) COMP-3.     01410000 MA07C                 1

  . Component LMK00150.cbl has variable

  . MA07390 is part of group

  . OFF-MA07 (201, 4)  ===> this variable is in a group that starts at offset 201 and is a size of 4

  . moved from

  . LATEST-MA07 (201, 4) is group containing  ===> this variable is in a group that starts at offset 201 and is a size of 4

  . LATEST-DATA (186, 4) is group containing  ===> this variable is in a group that starts at offset 186 and is a size of 4

  . LATEST-GMP-AMT-PRE (0, 4)       ==> this variable is not in a group so it's offset is 0 with a size of 4
