Problem:

open a cobol program. got view -- analysis option and all items are grayed out.

Resolution:

Open a project.

Goto project-> project settings.

Select General tab.

Select the Build tab from Project.

Check Enable Analysis Option.

Optionally, check Automatically Update on Build, to rebuild the analysis option information whenever a Mainframe Express build is done.
