Problem:

Wants to see record lengths and field starting positions as done in the old COBOL Workbench (WB) product.

Resolution:

The information is available and it's right there on the screen.

Look down at the lower-right of the main Mainframe Express window.  There, in the margins, will be "rec len" and "LN x Col y".  The record length will tell you how long each particular record is.  The Col y will tell you where a field begins if/when you highlight it in the record layout area.
