Problem:

When bringing up MF, with DB2, redirector and router files get too big.

How do you turn off tracing?

Resolution:

To turn off the redirector and router traces go to mfuser\\config\\xdb.ini and add a semi-colon to the front of each line in the trace section as below:

;[TRACE]

;RedirSndRcvTrace=c:\\redir.trc

;TraceType=1

;RouterTrace=c:\\router.trc

This will stop tracing and you can delete the redir.trc and router.trc files that currently exist.
