Problem:

Verification of workstation-encoded EBCIDIC source files fails with the error "Unexpected end of file." The files display in binary rather than ASCII format in the MW Editor.

Resolution:

Delete and re-register the source files with the correct options:

1. Select the source files that failed to verify in the Repository Browser and choose File -> Delete from Workspace.
2. Choose Tools -> Workspace Options -> Registration -> Source Files and select Workstation for the Legacy Source Encoding option and English - US (EBCIDIC-CCSID-37) for the Object System Encoding option. Click OK.
3. Register the source files.
