Problem:

User wants to change the location of the revolve.log file because the O/S is being migrated to VISTA and VISTA prevents files being created at the root of c:

Resolution:

In the Micro Focus Revolve Enterprise Edition window:

goto Utilities->Options...

select Directories tab

The Swap File Directory is defaulted to C:\\

Change the Swap File Directory to some other drive and folder, this has to be a location that already exists.  If a network drive, then ensure that the user logging into Revolve will always have access to this network drive.

The NEW Swap File Directory will include the revolve.log file and revolve swap file.
