Problem:

The Administrator just uninstalled RV70 for one of his users. The Administrator can no longer save the Revoke key.

The Administrator used Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, but the Revoke key could not be saved.

The Administrator was then presented a screen showing a different code after The Administrator selected 'manual'.

Resolution:

The Revoke Key is saved to a textual file in the bin directory, called protrev.key.

This file is created or updated when a Manual Revoke is performed.

If a revoke of the license is done against a license server set up, the protrev.txt file is not updated.

If there are multiple products installed on the user's machine, the protrev.key is created and updated in the bin directory of the product that the License Management System was open under.

For example, if the user went to Start/Programs/Micro Focus Mainframe Express/Configuration/License Management System and revoked a key for Revolve, the protrev.txt file would be created/updated under Mainframe Express\\Base\\Bin folder not the Revolve\\bin folder.
