Running Java program through JCL in microfocus

Hi,

I would like to run a Java program from batch JCL for project. 

Can we do this without writing a COBOL program?  I searched and found BPXBATCH utility in Mainframe does this.  Does this utility supported on microfocus?

If not is there any alternative?
