Problem:

When you open the Enterprise View Portal in a Web browser, the following error message is displayed:

Resolution:

Please verify the provided username and password in Configuration Manager > Portal Settings, Context Section.

The username specified has to be the name of the schema used by Enterprise View and the password must be the password for the schema. The default username and password (system/system) are simply placeholders and will not allow the Portal to correctly connect to Oracle, which will result in an error emitted from the Portal.

Type in the correct username and password and click Apply, then restart the Portal from the host and refresh the page in the Web browser.
