Problem:
SQL Server Express installation fails during the Enterprise Analyzer installation. Attempts to install the SQL Server directly result in the message "The Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service cannot be started."
Resolution:
Issue is usually related to permissions or an IT issue on the user. The user will need to work with their IT team to resolve the issue. Below is a link which helps with basic troubleshooting of the service.
