Problem:

The customer upgraded IBM DB2 to version 8 on the mainframe. XDB Server options is set to DB2 version 8. Sqlcode=-332 appears while executing a SELECT in a program.

The same statement is running on SQL Wizard with the host variables resolved interactively.

The customer added codepage to 911 in xdb.ini as XDBCP=911.

ALL10M30 is in place.

Resolution:

In this case it helped to enter the single code page 911 in the Workstation Configuration. In the Gateway Profile Local, it was 850 before.
