Problem: 

"The name of the column is not valid" Compile error when using custom SQL function with HCOSS.

Resolution:

To avoid this error ensure that in the

    HCOSS > Customise Options > SQL Name Mappings Table

that the "isfunction" option is set for the row that contains the details of the custom SQL function.

This will allow a successful compile of the COBOL program that uses the custom SQL function.
