Problem:
Using the command
mfds -s 2
from the Unix command line does not stop MFDS.
Resolution:
This normally means indicates that the User ID issuing the command does not have proper authorization.
This will be highlighted with the message of 'insufficient authority' in the journal on your Enterprise Server Administration page.
When starting/stopping MFDS, this command needs to executed as the ROOT user.
If security is enabled then a valid username and password will also need to be passed in the command line, i.e
mfds -s 2 username password.
