Some customers want to start fresh with a completely new XDB Server and this can be done by uninstalling and reinstalling.

Go to the mfe\\mfsql\\bin directory from the mfe command prompt and type:

xsrvmfe /?

They will get something like this:

Micro Focus XDB Server for MFE 3.1
The service is currently installed.
Use the XDB Server Service Controller in Control Panel to
configure XDB Server.
Usage:
XSRVMFE -i to install.
XSRVMFE -u to uninstall.
XSRVMFE -v for version info.
XSRVMFE -h for help.

They can then type

xsrvmfe -u

to uninstall and next

xsrvmfe -i

to reinstall
