Problem:
How to do a clean un-install or re-install of Enterprise View Express
Resolution:
1. Stop the Apache Tomcat service.
2. Remove Enterprise View from Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs
2. Delete the EV folder in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Tomcat 6.0\\webapps\\
3. Delete everything in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Tomcat 6.0\\work\\Catalina\\localhost
4. Delete EV.xml in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Tomcat 6.0\\conf\\Catalina\\localhost
5. Delete everything in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Tomcat 6.0\\temp
6. Empty the Recycle Bin - delete everything from it
7. Restart the computer
8. Stop the Apache Tomcat service.
9. Install the EV and any hotfix
10. Start the Tomcat service.
Note : It will be necessary to configure Enterprise View from the start, by selecting a workspace to be used.
