Using Basic Authentication scheme for inbound web service

Hi,

Is it possible to secure either the web service listener or service or handler using the HTTP/1.0 Basic Access Authentication scheme?

We're exposing inbound web services and we would like to secure them with Basic Auth instead of SSL & client certs...

    Not currently (except for CICS web services). You could request this enhancement through your MF support representative.

    It doesn't matter in this particular case, but in the future please remember to include product information in your question: the product name, version, and platform.
