Problem:

Should Load Selected to add a component be the way to load the components to the project?  What does Update Status of a component mean?

Resolution:

Using Load Selected impacts just that component and the direct imports for that component.  Using MAKE will bring in any components that are affected by the originating component and the components that impact that component.

For example:

ProgA calls ProgB

ProgB calls ProgC

ProgC calls ProgD

ProgA calls ProgD

Copybook1 is in all programs.

If a Load Selected is done on ProgA, only ProgB and ProgD will be affected directly, so the update would also be done on these components.

If a MAKE were done, all of the components would be updated.
